Website: A website that communicates the unique, individual identity and feel of your business. Quality design and content will ensure that your website is one that customers and clients can trust

Preparation: Doing some ground work will help ensure that your website successfully targets the audience you want to reach. Working through the following questions will assist in clarifying your goals.

Why do you want a website? What are the specific goals of the site? Is the goal to sell a specific product or service, communicate with clients, or support the products or services with additional resource information? Your purpose may include some or all of the above, as well as other goals not listed here. Clear answers will help us create a more effective website.

  • How should the site fit with current marketing strategies/materials?
  • Should the site reinforce or reuse existing marketing materials?
  • Who is your target audience?
  • What feel would you like the site to have?

Find websites that appeal to you: this will help you identify aspects of the look and feel that you want on your own website. Find sites that you do not like and do a comparison with those you do: this exercise is instructive and again will help you define some key characteristics of the website you want. Gather information about your business. This information may be in electronic or paper form: advertising information, text files, brochures, logos, photos, etc. Start to make an assessment of information you do not have available but which you will need to set up your website.

Consultation: The first half hour consulation is FREE! We believe that in-depth, empathetic, professional consultation is key to the success of any given project. During our consultation we will discuss your goals and needs. Together we look at the websites you have researched and consider the goals for your own site. We also review the information you have gathered. Brainstorming is part of our consultation process and involves working together with you to come up with the visual look and feel of your site. This includes establishing the extent: the number of pages, the structure of the pages, links, images, etc. We also discuss the hosting options available and decide on the package that meets your needs and we assist you in the process of registering a domain name and selecting your web-hosting plan. The aim of the consultation is to establish a website development plan that meets your needs and time frame. Depending on what material you already have, the development plan may include designing a logo and developing content for your site. Content covers copywriting and photography.

Brief & quote: Your website development plan will then be outlined in a brief, showing work that is to be done and a timeframe for development. Your brief will include an accurate estimate of costs. Once you have signed off on the brief and quote, we will begin to build your website.

Development: Your website is your storefront and sales team in one, giving an instant first impression of your business. Professional web design creates a professional on-line presence. While working on the template, graphics and structure of the site, we will also work with you to create content for the pages. Developing professional content is essential to the success of your site. Good content and a smart use of keywords help achieve results. The quality of the text will have an important influence on how the website is perceived by visitors. Good copy will present the crucial, differentiating benefits of your product or service and identify qualities that set you apart from your competitors. Visitors to your site will not necessarily land on your home page so it is important that each page on the site is of consistently high quality.

Review: Content is then uploaded into a development website. This temporary web site allows you to fully review the template, the navigation and the content before your completed website goes live. Any errors are corrected and edits and desired changes are made.

Completion: Your website goes live.

Copy Writing & content writing for the web: Content writing for the web:This practice includes the strategic placement and repetition of keywords and keyword phrases on webpages. Known as "organic" search engine optimization (SEO), it is best done in a way that does not distract, bore or confuse the human reader. Achieving optimal results is something of an art.

Making the most of word-power: Words are the bridge-builders between your product or service and your clients or customers. Exploiting the power of language will set you apart from your competitors and add value to your communications. When you over-look the quality of your text you over-look an opportunity. Effective copy will engage your clients or customers. An outside writer can offer objectivity and a totally fresh approach to your business or service message, crafting your communication to ensure a dynamic and engaged presentation of ideas. Copy produced by an independent writer achieves results that are rarely achieved in-house.

This comprehensive approach offers an integrated service so you gain valuable assets that achieve results with great efficiency! We encourage our clients to consider their business communication strategy as a whole. Integration of your website profile with print media and advertising campaigns ensures that your branding and key messages are being communicated consistently across all areas.
